You grin sheepishly at her and accept an armful of junk before leading her down the hall. You head into another, larger hall that branches off of the one you usually stay in, because the biggest living area is there; it has a projector and a screen, and you keep your entire movie library in there. To be honest, you are pretty excited to have friends to watch movies with you now, because your movies are pretty awesome.

When you get into the room, you carefully deposit Nequeo’s things on the couch so that the two of you can sort through them. You see that among the pile are some of her own movies, and you wonder what kind of films they are; out of the corner of your eye, you glance at the shelves full of movies in the corner and wonder if she would like any of them.

((I’m about to upload a list of Auter’s movie library. See if you can spot the common theme. xD))

The first thing you notice when you walk in is his extensive movie collection. You quickly set the junk on the couch and walk over to the shelf. You examine all og the movie titles. Some of them you already have but most you’ve never heard of. You wip around in his direction to compliment the movies with a large and goofy grin on your face.

“oh w-wow bro! this is 4n impr3ssiv3 coll3ction y4 got h3r3! iv3 n-n3v3r h34rd of som3 o-of th3s3. im 4ctu4ly 4 l-littl3 j34lous… h3h3!”

“Oh, uhm, if there are any in particular that you’re, uhm, interested in, I could alchemize you some copies to take home with you.” You’re really pleased that she’s a movie buff like you; it gives the two of you something in common. “Do you, uhm, like moster movies, Nequeo?”

You turn back around to the movies and pull out a movie whos name really catches your attention. Waterworld…

“this on3 s-sounds kind of n-n34t. ill h-h4v3 to g3t y4 to m4k3 m3 4 copy.”

You put the movie back and walk over to the couch. You push over a few items you brought so you can sit down.

“i FUCKING l-lov3 monst3r movi3s b-bro! i 4ctu4ly brought two m-monst3r movi3s. i h-h4v3 Nosf3r4tu, p-polt3rg3ist, 4nd cr34tur3 from the bl4ck l4goon.”

You rummage through the junk and pull out the three movies you brought. You hold them up as you name them out to show Auter. You then move them to the floor because they take up too much room on the couch.

You gasp loudly and your eyes go even wider than normal as you clap your hands over your mouth. “You have Creature From The Black Lagoon?! That’s one of my favorites! I don’t have that one! You’re so awesome, Nequeo!”

You huff moodily and rummage around your computer desktop to find your IP tracker. You’ve only ever had to use it once, so it takes a few minutes to find it. Once you’ve pulled up Shane’s IP, you’re easily able to pinpoint his location on Earth so that you can Appearify him to your hive.

[BR]: Fine! I’ll see you in a, uhm, few minutes. Just stay right where you are.

On your way over to the Appearifier, with Shane’s coordinates in hand, you remember that you have a few extra-scary movies tucked away in another room. You usually only watch them on special occasions, like the Troll Day of the Dead, but you think this occasion is special enough. You bet Shane won’t be able to handle a real Alternian horror film. You grab the scariest, bloodiest, most horrifying one you have and smirk confidently to yourself as you lock onto his coordinates and start up the machine.

You follow Loligo down the beach with your much lighter load. It sure is hot. You arnt used to the sun beating down on you and they jeans and long sleeved shirt isnt helping. Once you make it to the mouth of the cave you carefully take the items back that Loligo has helped you carry.

“th4nks bro! i g-got it from h3r3.”

You slowly walk into the cave. You dont want to seem to exited about meeting Auter because that would make you look uncool but really you can barely hold your excitement.

“h3llo 4nyon3 h-hom3?”

You watch the new female troll carefully, curious to see how she’ll react to Auter.

At the sound of Nequeo’s voice (you’re sure it’s her, because what other female troll would be calling at your door?), you tense, the take a deep breath. You have to force yourself to relax and seem confident. You know that if you don’t make a big deal out of your appearance, she probably won’t either. It’s just… kind of hard.

You’re wearing your best coat, the one you usually save for when you have to go into town, because Nequeo is expecting you to behave at least somewhat like a typical highblood; you feel like you’re obligated to at least dress up for the occasion. Your usual coat is pretty plain, but this one is actually pretty elegant; you made it yourself, as you do most of your things, and the buttons down the front are pearls that your harvested from oysters by hand; the edges of the collar are decorated with silver filigree and have bits of brightly colored shells set in them. You hope she’ll be impressed. Though… you do have to wonder why you’re so determined to impress her; you never felt like this when Teppeu visited.

After a moment to collect your thoughts, you step out into the hallway. You can see her silhouetted in the entrance of the cave, with Loligo just a bit behind her. Trying to suppress your nervousness, you smile and wave at her.

“Uhm, hello, Nequeo!” you call, heading her way. “Welcome to my, uhm, hive!”

“o-oh th3r3 you 4r3!”

You walk closer to the sound of his voice and once you are a few feet away you peek out from behind the pile of junk in your hand. As soon as you see him your eyes grow as wide as sausers and your arms go limp, causing you to drop everything in your hands along with your jaw. He is the coolest think you have ever seen in your entire life! You stand there stuned for a second before you realize just how much you have fucked up. Once you snap out of your stupor, a blush spreads over your face.

“o-oh FUCK… im s-so sorry!!!”

You quickly drop to your knees and pick up all the shit you’ve dropped. Thankfully you dont think you’ve broken anything but you sure as hell screwed everything up…

“O-oh, uhm, it’s, uh, okay! Really! Uhm, nothing broke, did it?” you say apologetically, bending to help her pick up the things she dropped. You really hope nothing’s broken, because it would be all your fault for surprising her like that. “I, uhm, really should have warned you, I, uhm, I guess.”

Once you pick up all over your belongings you stand back up. You try to hide most of your face behind the pile so you dont show how embarrassed you are. What a bad first impression… You take this chance to actually look him over a little more. Hes wearing such and elegant outfit wile your just wearing the same ol’ long sleeve v-neck, purple jeans, and dirty boots. Not to mention most of your clothes are soggy with sea water. You feel as though you have under dressed.

“im s-sorry bro… you 4r3 just s-so FUCKING cool l-looking i couldnt h-h3lp mys3lf…”

Now it’s your turn to blush. She thinks you’re cool? That’s so exciting!

“Oh, but, uhm, I’m really not cool at all! I, uhm, I think you’re pretty cool, Nequeo! Uhm… uh, can I, uhm, help you carry some of that? We can put it in one of the living areas. I think the big one is, uhm, pretty clean, and my, uh, movie projector is in there, so…”

You follow Loligo down the beach with your much lighter load. It sure is hot. You arnt used to the sun beating down on you and they jeans and long sleeved shirt isnt helping. Once you make it to the mouth of the cave you carefully take the items back that Loligo has helped you carry.

You slowly walk into the cave. You dont want to seem to exited about meeting Auter because that would make you look uncool but really you can barely hold your excitement.

You watch the new female troll carefully, curious to see how she’ll react to Auter.

At the sound of Nequeo’s voice (you’re sure it’s her, because what other female troll would be calling at your door?), you tense, the take a deep breath. You have to force yourself to relax and seem confident. You know that if you don’t make a big deal out of your appearance, she probably won’t either. It’s just… kind of hard.

You’re wearing your best coat, the one you usually save for when you have to go into town, because Nequeo is expecting you to behave at least somewhat like a typical highblood; you feel like you’re obligated to at least dress up for the occasion. Your usual coat is pretty plain, but this one is actually pretty elegant; you made it yourself, as you do most of your things, and the buttons down the front are pearls that your harvested from oysters by hand; the edges of the collar are decorated with silver filigree and have bits of brightly colored shells set in them. You hope she’ll be impressed. Though… you do have to wonder why you’re so determined to impress her; you never felt like this when Teppeu visited.

After a moment to collect your thoughts, you step out into the hallway. You can see her silhouetted in the entrance of the cave, with Loligo just a bit behind her. Trying to suppress your nervousness, you smile and wave at her.

“Uhm, hello, Nequeo!” you call, heading her way. “Welcome to my, uhm, hive!”

“o-oh th3r3 you 4r3!”

You walk closer to the sound of his voice and once you are a few feet away you peek out from behind the pile of junk in your hand. As soon as you see him your eyes grow as wide as sausers and your arms go limp, causing you to drop everything in your hands along with your jaw. He is the coolest think you have ever seen in your entire life! You stand there stuned for a second before you realize just how much you have fucked up. At least if she sees your lusus first, the tentacles will be a little less shocking. You call Loligo over and ask him really, really nicely if he’ll go help your friend carry her things into the hive.

Of course you’ll help Auter’s friend. Any friend of his is a friend of yours, since the both of you are somewhat lacking in that department. You wonder why he seems so nervous about asking you, until you realize that sending someone else to do it probably seems ungentlemanly to him. You don’t think she’ll mind terribly.

You drift out onto the beach and spot her immediately. She’s standing with her feet in the surf, looking out over the ocean. You wonder what she thinks of it, if she appreciates its beauty. But those are questions for later, after she’s settled in and comfortable in the hive.

It doesn’t take you long to float silently over to her, your tentacles never once touching the sand. You don’t want to surprise her too badly, so you bat a little puff of sand at the back of her legs, letting her know of your presence.

You feel the sand splash on your legs and turn around slowly to look for the source. This must be your ride. You look at the tentacled sea creature in awe. He looks like he came right out of It Came From Beneath the Sea! You reposition the instruments higher in your hands so that they wont get wet but block most of your vision. You carefully walk into the wake so that you are closer to the lusus. You peep your head out of the pile of instruments in your arms.

“o-oh h3y th3r3! i g-gu3ss you 4r3 m-my tick3t ov3r th3r3 huh?”

Since you can’t actually speak to answer her question, you simply pat her affectionately on the head with one of your longer tentacles and start carefully lifting the various objects from her arms. When you’ve wrapped all but a few of her things in your many tentacles you start to drift back towards the hive and motion for her to follow. Normally you would have just carried her, but with most of your tentacles occupied, you can’t really lift her safely.

When the two of you get to the entrance of the cave, you motion for her to go ahead. Ladies first, after all. <:DE

You quickly run into your music and film rooms and grab up as much as you can possibly carry. You call out the window for your custodians large pelican buddy who flys you around everywhere.
